The NEL kids masks are disposable 3 Ply Face Masks designed for children. They are locally made with light, breathable, and small lining spun-bonded non-woven textiles. The masks consist of three layers of fabric, which aligns with the guidelines provided by the Ministry of Health to ensure adequate protection. To use the NEL kids masks: Open the folded mask carefully, ensuring not to tear or damage it. Align the mask over your child's nose and mouth, covering both areas completely. The top edge of the mask should sit on the bridge of the nose, while the bottom edge should cover the chin. Stretch the loops around the child's ears, ensuring a secure and comfortable fit. Adjust the mask as needed to ensure it fits snugly against the face without any gaps. Bend the nose-bridge of the mask over the contour of your child's nose. This step helps to improve the fit and reduce the chances of air leakage. After use, it's important to follow proper disposal guidelines: Cut the mask into half, ensuring that it is rendered unusable. This step helps prevent the reuse of the mask and reduces the risk of transmission. Dispose of the cut mask into a bin specifically designated for the disposal of medical waste or contaminated materials. If such a bin is not available, use a regular waste bin but make sure to shut the lid tightly to prevent any potential spread of contaminants.
